Although the trend towards neutral colours in the kitchen has been going for some time, it’s not looking like the popularity of grey or white palettes as the main colour in kitchens is going away. A predominantly neutral colour scheme means that your kitchen doesn’t clash with the rest of the house and blends in nicely with the surroundings. It’s also a timeless choice so you’re less likely to need to update in the near future.
Functional doesn’t only refer to space and durability, but encompasses a number of simple tricks you can apply to take proper care of your kitchen. Whereas the regular cleaning schedule remains in place, consider using light wood for the floors and the cabinets, as it hides dust and wear better than any similar material.
